Once you experience summer at Alta Crystal Resort, you’ll never want to leave.
Many guests are surprised to hear that summer is our busiest time of year, until they come for a summer visit. The days are long, the weather is glorious and we can’t imagine a place that’s more beautiful. Or a summer vacation spot with more to do.

Most of our summer visitors come to visit Mt. Rainier National Park. It’s good your entry fee lasts for a week since you could easily spend this long exploring. Go up to Sunrise and feel like you’re on top of the world. (At 6400 feet, Sunrise is the highest point to which you can drive in the Park with the best views and hikes.) Sit for a few minutes and absorb the wisdom of 1000-year-old trees in the Ohanapecosh. Revel in the colors of wildflowers at Paradise.

But summers are much more than Mt. Rainier. Hike through the national forest right from your door. Go fishing and catch your dinner. Take a refreshing dip in our pool or soak your sore muscles away in our hot tub. Play ping-pong by the pool or in our recreation lodge. Toss a softball or play horseshoes in our recreation field. Join an impromptu evening game of volleyball. Take a bike ride along trails that range from beginner to advanced. Ride a horse to majestic vistas. Take a day trip to the Windy Ridge side of Mt. St. Helens. The list is endless.
We have barbecues and picnic tables throughout the grounds and the atmosphere is that of a relaxed mountain retreat. We even host activities every evening during the summer to make your vacation more enjoyable. Click here for a sample schedule.
Yes, summers are truly magical here. Why not see for yourself? |
